Practice Time Change for Friday August 1, 2008 - Due to swimmers attending the MO Show-Me Games this coming weekend, and also due to the KAC scheduling a swim party from 10:00am-12:00 on Friday, we will only have ONE Friday morning combined practice (no 7am, no 11am), as follows:

Friday, August 1st
Practice for ALL LEVELS
9:00am - 10:00am

Limited Practice Schedule for Week of 6/30/2008 - Due to the Independence day holiday week and low turnout, the 11:00am practices have been canceled for Monday, June 30 - Friday, July 4. Normal schedule resumes on Monday, July 7.
Last Call for Show Me Game Entries - The last day to sign up for swimming at the Show Me games is July 1st. It is VERY IMPORTANT that any interested swimmers email or call Diana with the days and events they are swimming. Ryan can coach our swimmers at this meet BUT ONLY IF WE HAVE 5 SWIMMERS attending. So even if you have told someone else your swimmer is going, PLEASE LET DIANA KNOW so we can have an accurate count on swimmers. Remember, parents can sign up for Masters swimming events and even siblings who are not USA swimming members can compete.
Friday Practices - During summer session, Friday Practices will be held on meet weekends, unless announced otherwise.
Pepsi Wagon/Hot Dog Stand - This fundraising event is being planned for Sunday, August 17, 2008 (after Truman students return) and will be held at WalMart. Click HERE to sign up (UserID and Password Required)

White, Red, Blue 7:00a.m. - 8:30a.m.
Preps 11:00a.m. - Noon
Monday through Friday

(You still must pay for admission to the Aquatic Center)

Mission Statement: Our year round swim club is focused on developing the skills of both competitive and recreational swimmers (ages 6 -18) in Northeast Missouri. ASA teaches goal setting, commitment, teamwork, and the satisfaction of achievement. While it may appear that we work only in the pool, the hard work and dedication that a swimmer learns in a USA Swimming Club will have a positive effect on that person for the rest of their life.

Inclement Weather Cancellation Policy

Swim Practice will be canceled any time the Kirksville Aquatic Center is closed.

In cases of snow or ice the determination to cancel will be made by 1:00 PM. This will be a joint determination by the Head Coach and the ASA President or appointed designee. Notification will be via e-mail. The Kirksville Aquatic Center will also be notified of the cancellation. If you do not regularly check your e-mail you can be placed on a call list.

Lightning is also a factor that will cause the pool to close. This generally cannot be determined with confidence prior to practice. Please call the Kirksville Aquatic Center with any questions relating to lightning.
